Rent Amounts

Residents who have a housing voucher or live in a subsidized home will pay no more than 1/3 of their household gross income on rent, regardless of the home size or published rent.

Utilities such as heat, electricity, water, sewer, trash, and recycling are included in the rent amount, so when compared to market-rate rentals, the savings from renting a Tungsten Village home range from $575 per month to $1,100 per month, depending on the number of bedrooms. Not included (to be paid for, as desired, by the resident) are communications services, including telephone, internet, cable and other pay television services.

Occupancy requirements allow no more than two people plus one additional person to occupy a bedroom.
